Brand/Logo Design
The Olney Outlaws are LaSalle’s student section, created to bring energy, spirit, and a unified identity to gameday. In creating the Olney Outlaws logo, I aimed to capture a bold, free-spirited energy that embodies grit and toughness. The design blends rugged-western atire with LSU's modern character, giving the student section a recognizable identity that feels both fierce and familiar.
I worked with the Senior Design team at La Salle university in making the logo for the Outlaw organization. It was important to have a figure that was recognizable enough by La Salle students but different enough from the traditional La Salle explorer. I traded the original explorer's telescope for the Olney and 20th Street Sign, an icon central to campus. I also created a hat that resembled a cowboy hat instead of the traditional French hat.
A teammate and I worked to create this organization after feeling that our university sport teams lacked support from students. We recognized a divide between students athletes. Few people attended games and fellow teams did not support one another. We looked at surrounding schools such as Villanova or Temple and saw that they had student section clubs. We knew we had to start our own. So we came up with the Olney Outlaws.
The club had a slow start the first year. There was little improvement to game attendance. However in the second year that we have lead the group, the numbers have multiplied and the club has recieved great positive feedback.

This was a logo idea I had to scratch but still was a fun idea to explore and was even later used on a tshirt after it resurfaced.
Graphics/Social Media
As Social Media Chair for the Olney Outlaws, I created graphics to announce student-section themes and contests. My goal was to energize the explorer fan community and elevate the game-day experience. From designing game-day visuals to team videos, I focused on creating cohesive, eye-catching content that engaged students and showcased the spirit of our club. This role allowed me to combine creativity with strategy, creating visuals that connect and inspire.
One of the biggest challenges of being Social Media Chair for the Olney Outlaws was building engagement and awareness for a brand-new student organization. I had to find creative ways to make content not only visually appealing but also compelling enough to encourage participation and establish a consistant voice.
I created these graphics to announce the e-board for the new group. It served as a first impression for many so I made sure the outlaw theme was apparant, smooth, and eye-catching!
